In November 2024, I had the unique opportunity to work as director of photography on a short film shot in Rio de Janeiro, a vibrant city that offers an exceptional visual playground for any filmmaker.

Working in Rio was as much a challenge as an inspiration. The intensity of the sun, the richness of the textures and the diversity of the settings called for a meticulous approach to light and framing. Each scene required adapting quickly to changing conditions while keeping a consistent cinematic look.

Alongside Paul, a passionate and demanding director, we captured the very essence of this city, between urban contrasts and striking natural light.

Shooting in such a lively and unpredictable city pushed my limits as a director of photography and sharpened my eye for composition and natural light.
